About
Hi... This is Sumana. I am currently teaching Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.
Till April this year, I was at the Florida State University, where I learnt to carry out actual experiments to study reaction-diffusion systems. We generated and controlled different types of waves and rings within the chemical reactions.
I have completed my PhD in 2007, from IACS Kolkata, India, under the supervision of Prof. D. S. Ray. My thesis work dealt with the theoretical studies of spatially extended systems, mainly reaction-diffusion systems. Earlier I earned my Bachelors degree from Cotton College, Gauhati University, India, followed by a Masters degree in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
